hey everyone! i really hope one of you can help me, because this is driving me crazy- i went all the way back through this community, several others, tried google, and... nothing.

so. it used to be that when i'd connect my ipod to my computer & opened itunes, it would sync automatically. now, i can't get it to sync AT ALL. i tried going to file » sync ipod, but it won't let me highlight/click it, just like when it's not connected to the ipod. i even tried going to the ipod help section & on the apple site, to no avail.

does anyone know how i can fix this? thanks in advance :)

I've found that whenever my iPod video does something odd, like freeze or not connect to the computer/iTunes properly, I just leave it on until the battery runs out. Then I hook it back up to the computer and works normally (well for me at least).

It's worth a try anyway if nothing else has worked.
