So I know this is gonna be a stupid question that has been asked a thousand times, but I scrolled back a few entries and didn't see it answered anywhere. I just got my 30GB ipod video and I have loaded all of my music onto it. I found a converter for youtube videos and I'm loving that :) But, what I really want is a converter [read: super simple process for the computer challenged, using Windos] that will take movies I already own and put them on my ipod..without having to buy them from itunes. If anyone would be able to walk me through it, or point me in the direction of a fairly basic walkthrough, I'd be forever greatful. xDThanks in advance.
Ok, so I tried to turn on my iPod and this screen comes up and says: "SDRAM Full Test Please wait... RUN: BL on PASS: BL blink FAIL: BL off Reset to continue." What the fuck do I do?? When I plugged it into my computer it didn't do anything and I tried to "reset" it according to the iTunes user support but nothing happened. What the hell happened to it? I didn't drop it or anything....I don't understand. Please help..?!?!?
Hey there everyone, I have a feeling this is a common question, but couldn't find an answer to my liking, so here we are. =]I recently got an 80GB iPod Video, and I was wondering how I can rip Movies or TV Shows from DVDS onto my Computer, and into iPod compatable file types. Thank you very much in advance!
I got a 30 GB iPod for Christmas and I'm guessing it can play videos because it had a picture of pirates of the carribean on the front of it...but I can't figure out how to put videos on there.I right clicked on the music videos I wanted and selected "send to iPod" but it says that my ipod cannot play that format or something. the videos are saved on my ipod so that i can select the folder and open them on my computer, but I can't play them on the ipod.Am I doing something wrong? How do I upload movies/music videos to my iPod? Do I have to buy them through iTunes? Also is there a difference from an iPod and an iPod video? Are those just the newest ones..the "fifth generation" ones?
Hi all, I just bought a 5.5 gen IPOD, and I was experimenting with converting/ripping dvds to ipod compatible formats. The programs I have used so far are "clonedvd" and "AVS Video Converter". While both these programs do the converting, they destroy the quality(even of the highest quality settings). File size is not an issue for me, so I would really like to keep my videos in a format that would look good using the TV connection cables sold at the apple store and put on my regular TV. Can you guys recommend any software that converts DVD or DVD quality video to IPOD without lowering its quality/filesize significantly? Is it even possible to have dvd quality video on the ipod?
This may sound very dumb, but I just got my 30gb iPod Video yesterday and I have no idea how to put videos on it. I'm not sure if I have to convert the video first, or what. ^^; Can someone please help me?
Having major problems with my iPod video.I was trying to put some photos on it and for some reason it took up a lot of space on my computer and my computer like somehow deleted all the music on my iPod. My videos are still there, but that's it. And when my iPod is connected, it won't let me put anything on there either. It just says "iPod update is complete."Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks for any help in advance. :)
I think is is dumb.. but how do I transfer youtube videos into my iPod video?
Hey everyone,I just got my 30gb video ipod and I'm trying to get all the programs I'm going to need to get video and music onto my ipod. Currently I'm using Ares to download music and television shows and I have videora ipod converter to get the stuff ready for my ipod. The next thing I want to do is to take my dvd's that I've bought (like movies and tv series) and to put them on my ipod if I can. Is there a program that you reccommend for a windows user? How do I even go about getting my dvd's onto my computer so I can convert them and get them into itunes and then onto my ipod? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a bunch.Oh and I have no idea how to use bit torrents. That's a way to daunting thing right now.
I am interested in purchasing a speaker system for my son's iPod but am not sure what would work best for the money. Anyone have any suggestions for a system that would cost around $100? Thanks in advance.
