iTunes issues

current mood: frustrated

iTunes is being very bratty with me, and I'm not sure why or how to fix it. When I plug my iPod video in it gives me the normal "Do not disconnect" screen and it starts to charge, but when I open iTunes and iTunes starts trying to add the new songs I put in to it, iTunes crashes. I've tried to do the same thing three times and it crashed every time, so I sent an error report. When it was done sending, it gave me a link to a little bit of information on how to fix iTunes. It told me I needed the newest version of Quicktime, so I tried to download it. When the download was complete my computer told me I already had the newer version of Quicktime. So if it's not Quicktime that is messing me up, what is it and how do I fix it?

Thank you in advance.

This sounds like spyware. Download a spyware program from www.download.com. There are plenty to choose from!
